PackRunHQ ("PackRunHQ", "we", "us") provides software for pet care facilities. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using PackRunHQ you agree to this policy.
1. Information We Collect
Account & Business Data
When you create an account we collect your name, email, phone, password (hashed), business name and business address.
Customer & Pet Records You Enter
Data you store about your clients and their pets — names, contact details, vaccination records, medical and behavioral notes, photos, reservations and payment history.
Usage & Device Data
Log data, IP address, browser type, pages visited, and timestamps for security and product improvement.
Cookies
We use strictly-necessary cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use advertising cookies.
2. How We Use Information
- To provide, secure and improve PackRunHQ
- To process payments for your subscription
- To send transactional email (receipts, password resets, security alerts)
- To respond to support requests
- To comply with legal obligations
3. Sharing Your Information
We do not sell personal information. We share data only with:
- Sub-processors that power the service: Supabase (hosting & database), Stripe (payments), Resend (email), and our cloud infrastructure providers.
- Legal authorities when required by law, subpoena, or to protect rights and safety.
- Successors in the event of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, with notice to you.
4. Data Retention
We retain account and customer data for as long as your account is active. After cancellation we keep data for up to 90 days to allow recovery, then delete or anonymize it. Backups may persist up to 30 additional days.
5. Security
Data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest (AES-256). Access to production systems is restricted, logged, and uses multi-factor authentication. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secret.
6. Your Rights (GDPR / CCPA)
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict processing. To exercise these rights, email privacy@packrunhq.com. We respond within 30 days.
California residents have the additional right to opt out of the "sale" of personal information — we do not sell personal information.
7. International Transfers
Our infrastructure is hosted in the United States. If you access PackRunHQ from outside the US, your information will be transferred to and processed in the US under appropriate safeguards (Standard Contractual Clauses where applicable).
8. Children's Privacy (COPPA)
PackRunHQ is intended for business use by adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
9. Data Breach Notification
If we become aware of a breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you and applicable regulators without undue delay, consistent with applicable law.

11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email or in-app notice at least 30 days before they take effect.
